SEGA announced a title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game will be released in winter 2011. Generations is an anniversary game, Sonic The Hedgehog turning 20 years of age.

Divided into three different eras in the history of 20 years, the game can be experienced both in the classic 2D and 3D mode of the past in the modern Sonic games.

In terms of scenario, Generations puts us in front of a new power generating jumps in time. Fascinated with pritenii its own history in the time, Sonic must confront old enemies meet over his life.
