So, we know that Kate Middleton and Prince William are only having one wedding ring (for her) and we can now reveal all the details about said gold band!
The ring will be a simple, slim band, fashioned by family jewellers Wartski, from a piece of Welsh gold that was given to Prince William by The Queen following the announcement of his engagement to Kate.
William’s best man, Prince Harry, will transport the ring to the venue – Westminster Abbey – for the wedding ceremony at 11 am. Big responsibility.
Wartski is a family jewellery business which was founded in 1865, the company created the rings for the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, for their wedding in 2005 [image above], as well as for the wedding of Viscount Linley and The Hon. Serena Stanhope in 1993.
