| download malwarebytes scan pc might be infected if it is clean it
if still happens just switch to firfox for your browser |

| Posted: Tue May 17, 2011 12:06 Author:  The problem is most probably due to a software which is interfering with ur OS shell. So any new software which u may have installed is causing the problem
So you need to clean ur startup files.
Try to disable every thing from ur startup and keep only those things which are necessary.
So type msconfig in the search bar and then go to startup and untick everything and restart. if it gets solved, then you can find which software is the culprit. |

| if you have yahoo messenger install try removing that because it also uses the same processes see if that makes a difference

And sme softwares use registry keys to start on boot. So try to kill any process which is a software installed by u from the taskmanager.
And do create a restore pt before doing all this... |

| try this i had something similar happening to me a while back
remove
k-lite mega codec pack 7.10
install it again but when installing limit the thumbview uncheck mvk,rm, and mov formats for thumbview
and on codec update uncheck ffdshow reverse codec

finally i removed win 7 ultimate and installed win 7 enterprise.
