| Posted: Mon May 23, 2011 13:41 Author:  Ok have v dub and would like to try it and play with some videos; sharpen/ lighten / re sync audio etc but can't find simple directions any one have any ? tryed on my own but a 2 gig torrent exploded into 30 gig so what got messed up ! ?
Any other software to fix video / audio problems i might try out ? ?

Give it try m8.

Assuming i can find the compression/bitrate settings what numbers do i use ?

Bitrate
Media Compression
Should give u fair idea about them.
How to select Compression & Bitrate in VD
Go to Video menu and click Compression.

In the list, click x264 - H264/AVC encoder or as required.

Now click the configure button.
x264 codec window should show, make sure the drop-down has Single Pass - Bitrate.

Now select your average bitrate value.
Copied from Teek.info(the link which i had given u earlier)
And finally, VD and Handbrake are advanced piece of codes, so its better to
use the other converters available and then jump on to these.
If u find the previous link to TUTORIAL hard, then check out youtube. I'm sure you will find something useful there. |

so no more 2 gigs = 30 gigs was so shocked at that and yes saw the other link but the instructions are messy; guess i ll try water for elephants and vd audio re sync and your great instructions; does vd burn to a dvd or do i use convert X after i am done with vitual dub ! ?
Thanks for the help just need a little more help - hugs. Oh oops almost forgot how do i figure out which number to use plus/minus for the resync ! ?

got a problem using vd 1.9.6 and found compression but i don t have that setting you mentioned in that list so what do i do now ?
