| Posted: Tue May 24, 2011 17:21 Author:  I'm not sure if this is posted or not whatever i download a file i can't view it or it will disappear the next i opened the folder up. Now i know my comp. is old but should that matter or what it is. |

| it might hav got hidden due to some virus or some other feature m8
just try TOOLS -> FOLDER OPTIONS -> VIEW -> SHOW HIDDEN FILES & FOLDERS |

| Posted: Tue May 24, 2011 17:58 Author:  tried it and it doesn't work. The file will be there if i open it up the torrent app. in the containing folder but will not show up if i navigate it from my docu/download/and etc. to the folder. |

| as u say u can find the file through utorrent then u can copy or cut that file and paste to another folder try that
or go to preference in utorrent , then directories and change the location |

Check inside all your folders in your downloads, one of the folders may have a significant amount of your downloads...
But as stated before, just change the default download location in Utorrent Prefrences. |

And maybe the file u r downloading is infected and your AV is deleting it, that is y it dissappears when u open the folder!! |

| Wich OS is?Wich Antivirus(AV) do you have?Wich torrent(s) did you downloaded?
My hint is:Go in utorrent=>Preferences=>Directories[utorrent version 2.2.1](Create new folders for your torrents and try to download a new torrent)after this come back with a report. |

i'm running xp pro, it's an old comp. but still gets the job done. I tried the directoires thing and download the torrents fild it said the folder don't exists. I also try downloading a new clients and its said the same thing. So I download a file and right click to view the containing file and this is the message that i recieve . |

Alright from ur screenshot it seems ur trying to download THIS torrent. And the file is clean.
Just wanna know if the location you are selecting is on a static harddrive and r u on a Home/Office network ??

It matters if you've changed the folder's name,if you downloaded on an external HDD and then you have removed,If you download on somethin' portable this might be ur problem. |

The funny thing is that it was working fine before and just recently it seem like i was able to download but can't find it or it's not there, not even the folder. I only concern might be my window security. Anyway thanks everybodies for your time and concern. |
