Empire of Silver
is a Chinese drama about tradition, war,courage and true love that never dies.

Empire of Silver filmmakers Peggy Chiao and Jeremy Thomas, the drama being written and directed by Christina Yao, while the main roles are played by the following: Aaron Kwok, Tielin Zhang, Hao Lei and Jennifer Tilly.

The action of the Empire of Silver is happening in China in 1899, when a young man known as "Third Master" inherits a business that does not really care, he must save his empire in some turbulent times, which coincided with the Boxer Rebellion North China. Everything culminates in the kidnapping of his sister-when the heir pressure begins to show its teeth, and his father, Lord Kang oblige them to take business and image. Not work out as planned old businessman, as Third Master decides to follow the path of his ancestors, to the detriment of his father's vision. Disagreements between father and son is worse and more from the Third Master's stepmother, his first and only love, which itself was stolen from his father. Impera fate bank and its people are in the hands of a young idealist who goes into a struggle between duty to family and undying love for a woman.

Empire of Silver premiere took place at the International Film Festival in Berlin in 2009, and will appear in American theaters on June 3, 2011, and will be distributed in theaters by NeoClassics Films.
