How To Add Subtitles To AVI/MP4/MKV Files Using MEGUI

1.] Download and Install MEGUI.Make a clean install.

2.] Run MEGUI.The first interface looks like this:

3.] Go to "Tools" and click on it to expand.

4.] Scroll down and go to 11 th option there, i.e. "Muxer".You will see a sliding menu once you put your mouse over there.

5.] There are different muxing option for various kinds of video file.

For example,

A) if you have a ".avi" file, open "AVI Muxer".

if you have a ".mp4" or ".mpeg4" file, open "MP4 Muxer".

C) if you have a ".MKV" file, open "MKV Muxer".

Here we shall discuss Option A - AVI Muxer.

1] In AVI Muxer, you can select the "Video Input.Add your video file here.

2] If the video contains in-built audio, you need not add a different audio file.(if you don't want to add ANOTHER audio)

3] Add the subtitle file in "Subtitle 1" "Input" field.You can add as many subtitles as you want!

But make sure the frame rate of subtitle you have downloaded are same as that of the video frame rate.Otherwise, those two won't match.

The result? you will see the subtitle earlier or after a particular video frame.Aww that sucks..i know it

4] You can select where you want to put the muxed file or output.Keep device type "Standard".

5] Go to the bottom and click on "Queue". This window(MeGUI AVI muxer) will close now, if not close it.

6.] Now go to MeGUI Main window: Second tab "Queue". You will see your job listed there.

7.] Start the job by clicking the "Start" button below! After completion you will get a video with subtitle inbuilt and you can turn off the subtitle any time you want.
