Batman was arrested in London for assaulting his mother and sister? WTF?


Christian Bale has been arrested following an allegation that he assaulted his mother and sister.

The Batman actor has been accused of "lashing out" at mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, at central London's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night.

The pair lodged an official complaint against Bale at a police station in Hampshire yesterday. It was then passed on to the Metropolitan Police for further investigation.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed: "A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."

Reports have suggested that police delayed questioning until today because they did not want to spoil the European Dark Knight premiere, which took place in London last night.
