anyway to watch movies on a plasma from a external hard drive??

hello, i have a 2TB external Hard Drive seagate. and i was wondering if theirs anyway that i could transfer all my movies and t.v shows to the EHD and watch them straight on my plasma. from my external HD? i guess what i want to accomplish here is make my external hard drive like a Western Digital WD TV Live HD 1080P Media Player. thanks in advance for any help!

i got the seagate thatre+ media player much better than the western dijital with it has 1080p hd output ther about 70uk without the hard drive(which u already have) worth buying

a lot of televisions do have a usb socket but most are only cabaple of music and photo slide shows

and the ones that do play media are normally one divx-xvid with the mp3 audio

na i never said seagate hdd i sed seagate media player

and no not every tele in last 2 yrs has xvid/mp4 play bak

my man just sepnt 6 on a 47 panasonic the usb only plays photos and mp3 audio
my other pal just bought a nice samsung again only mp3 audio and photos

yeh seaget hds do suk but the media player has p layed everythign i throw at it even iso's

andthe remote suk even wors ther frikin tiny!lol but the best two are the western dijital and seagtate theatre+ if ur tv dont accepts video straight if a fat formated hd.

and seagte now has netflix!
