PlanetSide 2
is a MMOFPS developed by Sony Online Entertainment, the sequel to the first game of the series, launched in 2003. PlanetSide 2 will benefit the vast continents, several empires and thousands of players who will participate in land and air battles.

The action will take place throughout the Auraxis where wars will be given control continenetelor and related resources. Developers have announced that battles will take days or even weeks, so gamers must choose carefully weapons and vehicles. The game will be a class-based free-form, so many combinations will be handy players.

The three empires that will fight for supremacy are:

The Terran Republic - conservative faction that wants to unite all forces under one empire;
The New Conglomerate - a faction that wants freedom and independence from other forces;
The Vanu Sovereignty a factor that focuses on development, to research and implement technologies to the alien.
