	Posted: Tue Jul 19, 2011 21:25 Author: musicbuoy I’ve just installed a dual boot system on my computer, XP & Win 7 and I’m having problems with my card reader. When in XP mode I can see and use the card reader perfectly well, But When in Win 7 mode I can’t even see the card reader (removable storage in “My Computer”) never mind use it. It does not recognise a card when inserted. The daft thing is I once found a way of activating & viewing the reader, this was within windows not BIOS but can’t remember how I did it and it’s driving me up the wall. Anybody got any ideas?

Find these settings on the View tab in Folder Options. Clear the Hide empty drives in the Computer folder check box, and then click OK . copieed from sum microshit site
